European Journal of Geography Cybergeo
The European Journal of Geography Cybergeo is a purely electronic journal founded in 1996. Actually, it was the first electronic journal in geography to appear in the world and one of the first in social sciences. Over the last seven years, it has shown proof of its capacity to provide efficient support for the diffusion of selected scientific information to a broad and diversified audience (more than 3 000 pages requested each day).
The journal has established a reputation for high quality research, scientific excellence and its innovative approach.
The journal publishes scientific articles in geography and other social sciences, including texts, maps and colour images. More than 250 papers are already on line, all of them were peer reviewed by an international editorial committee, according to the highest standards of refereeing principles. The journal addresses the whole domain of geography, with a special emphasis on interfacing with other sciences and developing theoretical and applied modelling.
